Volunteer Services

Consider the many ways you can make a difference through volunteering. There’s a wide variety of opportunities, from working the information desk to direct interaction with patients through the patient relations program to assisting with clerical work in various departments. Our volunteers enjoy a wonderful camaraderie and sense of community.

Here are a few of the many positions to consider:

  • Gift Shop Representative
  • Information Desk Greeter
  • Floor Service/Nursing Units
  • Pharmacy
  • Emergency Department
  • Planning, Marketing and Public Relations
  • Pet Visitation (a certifcate is necessary for this position)
  • And many more

Our volunteers commit to one, four-hour shift per week for a minimum of 100 hours. Many volunteers enjoy the experience so much they continue to provide years of service and explore new opportunities to assist staff and patients.

If you are interested in volunteering, we have two programs: adult and teen. Our programs are highly impacted and due to orientation and training, we only release a small number of applications only a few times a year.

  • If you are over 18, adult program applications will be released on Sept. 3, 2012.
  • If you are 15-18 years old and still in high school, teen program applications will be released on August 1.
