Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital is seeking a Manager of Pulmonary/Respiratory Services to join our staff.  The Manager of Pulmonary/Respiratory Services assumes responsibility for the overall functions and professional growth of the Pulmonary/Respiratory Therapy Department, contributes to development of facility policies and programs, provides consultation with regard to pulmonary disorders and respiratory therapy practice and facilitates the achievement of maximum therapeutic care potential for patients.

This position's primary responsibility is supervision of staff and direct patient care.  This position is responsible for maintaining staff coverage for twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day week coverage.

This crucial position will be responsible for:

• Writing, updating, and revising Respiratory Department Policies
• Ensuring department compliance with standards set forth by State, Federal, and accreditation agencies
• Oversight of Respiratory Laboratory Services (ABG’s) including staff competencies, developing polices, and compliance with accreditation

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited AMA approved RT program.
• Must hold RRT credential and active RCP license by the state of California
• 8 to 10 years of acute care experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience required
• Bachelor's Degree required
