VALENCIA (March 25, 2008) - You don’t need to be a golfer to win big at the 35^th Annual Frontier Toyota/Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital "Drive Safe" Golf Classic at Valencia Country Club on May 17, 2008. A $50,000 Helicopter Golf Ball Drop will also take place at the event.

 

During the drop, a total of 1,800 golf balls will be released from the sky towards a target hole. If one of the ten closest balls to land near the target hole matches a pre-selected winning number, the ticket holder will win a $50,000 grand prize. A first and second place closest to the target hole will win a guaranteed $2,500 and $1,000 prize.

Tickets for the exciting $50,000 Helicopter Golf Ball Drop are available through the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation at $20 each or six for $100. Winners don’t have to be present at the Classic to win.

Proceeds from the event, including Helicopter Golf Ball Drop tickets, will benefit emergency and trauma services at Henry Mayo; nearly $280,000 was raised in 2007.
