The miracle of giving birth is an amazing experience.  We're here to assist you in this joyful event and help alleviate the jitters you may feel as you get closer to your delivery date. After all, your baby's birth will profoundly affect everyone involved and it deserves the utmost thought and careful preparation.

Our philosophy is that a woman should feel confident in her body's ability to give birth.  After attending our program, you'll be able to make better informed choices as you plan your approach to childbirth.  Our Labor of Love Childbirth Education classes will provide you with all the tools you will need, such as showing films of diverse childbirth situation, role-playing, and breathing and relaxation proactice sessions.  You will also learn what to expect when you arrive at the labor and delivery unit, problems that could occur during labor, and newborn care.  After you complete this class, you will develop your own childbirth philosophy and feel more empowered to make decisions about your body and your baby. 

Parents can acquire additional support, education and resources through our comprehensive curriculum of education classes which includes Baby Care Basics, Successful Breastfeeding, Breastfeeding to Support the Working Mother, and well as Child and Infant CPR. 

This intensive, one-day course helps prepare expectant parents for childbirth. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Please wear comfortable clothes, bring pillows and bottled water.
