National Doctors Day Honors Physicians

Doctors preserve health and life every day, tirelessly contribute towards advancing medical knowledge, and dedicate hours to promoting good health. At the bedside, in surgery, treating emergency or urgent care patients, delivering babies, reading x-rays or lab tests, they deliver compassionate care to our community. In honor of National Doctors Day on March 30, the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation will honor physicians with a special recognition designed to show appreciation for their outstanding care and service to patients and their families.

The community is invited to participate in the recognition celebration by expressing special appreciation to their physician(s) with a contribution by March 18 in time to honor them for National Doctors Day on March 30, 2011.

National Doctors Day was created for this purpose and provides current and former patients with a vehicle to recognize their doctors for their commitment, skill, compassion, and dedication. Each physician honored will receive a letter from the Foundation acknowledging that a donation was received in his or her honor. Donations are confidential and no reference is made to the amount of the donor’s gift. Donations will benefit patient care services.

If you would like to recognize your physician(s) with a special online contribution, visit www.henrymayogiving.com or call the Foundation office at (661) 200-1201.
