Joongho Shin, MD, has clinical expertise in treating colon and rectal cancer using minimally invasive techniques, including Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery. He provides individualized, expert care in the full spectrum of colorectal diseases in a discreet and caring manner.

Dr. Shin has interest in hereditary colorectal cancer syndrome. During his residency, he conducted research in an NIH-funded lab regarding microsatellite unstable colorectal cancer and published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Shin is board certified in general surgery and colorectal surgery and active in the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
