Celebrate National Nutrition Month with Us

Here we are once again, celebrating our passion here in Community Education- nutrition to support health! Adults in the United States are getting record low intake of fruit compared to 20 years ago, and only about 10% get the recommended 2-3 cups of vegetables a day. How can we all do better? Eating fruits and vegetables every day is critical to long-term health. We need the fiber, anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals, and if we aren’t eating fruits and vegetables, what are we eating instead? Usually more processed foods, higher in sodium, sugar and fats.

The registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) in community education are passionate about helping everyone find healthy foods to enjoy. To celebrate National Nutrition Month, we have a variety of classes and events aimed at supporting your nutrition goals. We will be at Westfield Town Center on Saturday March 13th, from 10am to 2pm. Stop by to chat, pick up some fun Henry Mayo swag, and learn how you can improve your health by eating yummy, nutritious foods!
