Looking Out for the Whole Heart
February is back with Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, and Heart Health Month! We know that caring for your heart goes beyond medical prevention and treatment, diet, and exercise, but incorporates the whole body, including stress management and rehabilitation. Henry Mayo is offering a variety of activities this month to help you learn about and care for your whole heart. Join us throughout the month both in person and over Zoom.

Seedy Fruity Oatmeal!
Ingredients
½ cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup milk of your choice (such as nf cow milk, unsweetened almond milk or soy milk)
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground flax seed
1 tsp hemp seeds
½ an apple or pear, chopped
1 tbsp pomegranate arils
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Place oatmeal in a microwave safe bowl; add water to just cover the oatmeal. Microwave oatmeal on high, first, 1 minute 30 seconds, then stir, then an additional 30 seconds. Add cinnamon, vanilla and stir. Add milk, and stir. Add seeds and stir. Top with fruit and enjoy.
