Women should begin having annual mammograms at age 40. For women at high risk for breast cancer, it may be best to start even sooner. Your doctor can help you determine your risk level.

Every woman has some risk for developing breast cancer. Separating the myths from the facts can help you stay smart about the disease. Take the myths vs. facts quiz here.

Women at AVERAGE risk:

All should have a Risk Assessment especially women of color by age 30.

Annual Mammogram no out-of-pocket cost and no upper age limit (unless severe health problems) start at age 40.
