Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Hospitals are primarily focused on “acute care”, which is a short period of intensive treatment for injury and illness. The goal of acute care is to ensure that patients can safely leave the hospital without risk of their health deteriorating even further. While this is valuable, it does not mean that the patient has necessarily fully recovered from their injury or joint replacement.
Physical therapy sees patients working one-on-one with a physical therapist who creates a customized, long-term treatment plan for them aimed at restoring strength and mobility. Each physical therapy program is built from the ground up based on the unique needs of a patient. Our goal is to get you moving again so that you can enjoy life to the fullest.
