Henry Mayo Perioperative Services

The Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Perioperative Services Department has been serving and caring for the people in the Santa Clarita Valley for over 40 years. The Perioperative Services Department consists of the Main OR, the Outpatient Surgery Center, and the Sterile Processing Department. It also includes a Post Anesthesia Care Unit and a Gastroenterology Department. Perioperative Services strives to meet the health needs of individuals, families, and the community through quality care and services. We treat each patient with respect, integrity, and dignity.

Pre-Surgery Clinic

Main Operating Rooms

Outpatient Surgery Center

Located in the Outpatient Surgery Building on Henry Mayo’s campus, the outpatient surgery center provides patients with access to same-day surgery for a variety of conditions.

Other surgical services include ophthalmology (including corneal transplants and cataract removal), ear, nose, and throat (sinus endoscopic repairs, tonsil and adenoid removal, and more) plastic surgery, podiatry (bunionectomy and other foot repair cases), gynecology, urology, and vascular procedures, such as the latest in varicose vein treatment.

Inspire Sleep Apnea

The new sleep apnea therapy Inspire, offered at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, works inside the body with a patient’s natural breathing process to treat sleep apnea. The device delivers mild stimulation to key airway muscles, allowing the airway to open during sleep. The patient uses a small handheld remote to turn Inspire on before bed and off when they wake up.
