da Vinci Surgical System
Henry Mayo is has brought the latest minimally invasive surgery system to the Santa Clarita Valley. It's the da Vinci Xi® surgical system, and it allows physicians to operate through small incisions while enhancing their vision, precision and control and minimizing complications and recovery time for patients.
The da Vinci Xi System expands upon core da Vinci System features, including articulating instruments, 3D high definition (3D-HD) visualization, intuitive motion, and an ergonomic design. The surgeon is 100% in control of the robotic-assisted da Vinci System, which translates his/her hand movements into smaller, more precise movements of tiny instruments.
Henry Mayo physicians currently use the surgical system for urology procedures, Ob/GYN oncology procedures, and general surgery (e.g. gall bladder operations,) and will expand into other procedures in the future.
The da Vinci Xi Surgical System was designed with the goal of further advancing the technology used in minimally invasive surgery. The System can be used across a spectrum of minimally invasive surgical procedures and has been optimized for multi-quadrant surgeries.
