Annual Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital NICU Reunion to be Held Online

VALENCIA, CA (June 19, 2020) — Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is taking its annual Kim and Steven Ullman NICU reunion to a digital format this weekend.

“We’re pleased to be maintaining our NICU reunion tradition this year,” said Lori Matzner, Henry Mayo’s Director of the Center for Women and Newborns. “Although we would prefer to see our NICU families in person, we hope the activities and entertainment we have prepared for them will be fun, engaging, and a means of staying connected to us.”

Usually held at Dr. Richard H. Rioux Memorial Park in Stevenson Ranch, this year’s event is moving to a digital setting. Visitors can partake in a number of activities, including following instructions on how to create jungle animal-themed masks, participating in word searches and games, and listening to greeting messages and stories from Henry Mayo NICU staff, and actors Josh Gad and Rory O’Malley.

The Kim and Steven Ullman NICU provides world-class healthcare for SCV’s tiniest patients close to home, supporting Henry Mayo’s vision “To create the ideal patient-centered environment to surpass expectations.”
