The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center Receives Overwhelming Community Support

Thank you to our amazing partners, clinical staff and community supporters for making the 2020 Breast Cancer Awareness Month a success! We gratefully appreciate the response we received to our Unknown Patient appeal, as we know many have delayed routine screening for Breast Cancer though out this year. This year, our Breast Cancer Fund has been steadily applied to so many local women who could not afford their insurance co-pays, mammograms, and/or further diagnostic tests due to Covid-19 financial impacts on their family or their own unemployment. Our fundraising is always critical, and this year more than ever!

Our wonderful community business partners and friends held virtual creative events, solicited funds from others, donated proceeds from meals or other goods and all helped to make this BCA month fun and profitable. Thank you!
