Center for Women and Newborns Expands Offerings
Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital continues to mark itself as a premier destination for expectant moms. The Center for Women and Newborns, now in an expanded location in the new Patient Tower, offers 22 private patient rooms and seven state-of-the-art labor and delivery rooms, along with two dedicated surgical suites. For newborns with critical care needs, the nearby Kim and Steven Ullman
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) features private rooms, the latest technology and specially-trained staff who can handle emergency situations before, during and after delivery.
Recently the Henry Mayo CWN has introduced a variety of new offerings for expectant mothers, enhancing the experience. Following delivery, mothers and their partners may celebrate their new addition by enjoying a complimentary gourmet dinner. Families will also be provided with a gift bundle that includes: Photo session with Bella Baby Photography, T-shirt for the newborn, flip flops for mom, In-house massage for mom, access to mental health post-partum support session for parents, a free pelvic floor consultation, discount on a nursing bra including custom fitting, and a free three-month membership to Henry Mayo Fitness and Health following discharge.
The experienced, obstetrics-trained nursing team is committed to providing a secure, serene birthing experience that respects the decisions and desires of the mother, her family, and her physician. Led by highly experienced, board-certified obstetricians, nurses and support staff, new moms and newborn babies experience the utmost in clinical care and personalized attention.
