​Happy Birthday, Lily!

Joseph and Jessica Tomlinson‘s daughter Lily came into this world on February 9, 2020 all of two pounds and ten ounces. She was delivered in the Henry Mayo Center for Women and Newborns at 27 weeks and five days, and immediately after birth was taken to Henry Mayo’s Kim and Steven Ullman Neonatal Intensive Care unit, where she would be a patient for 60 days.

Lily’s grandmother, Lauren McGuire wanted to do something special to honor the amazing NICU staff and neonatal medicine specialist, Julia Mizener, MD. ​ Lauren created a birthday fundraiser on Facebook in honor of Lily and raised over $1,000 for the NICU at Henry Mayo. Today we wish Lily and her entire family a Happy First Birthday from all of us at Henry Mayo.
