Grateful to the Holiday Home Tour Homeowners
It’s the most magical time of the year – The Holiday Home Tour is coming to town! The Holiday Home Tour League is generously sponsored by Southern California Real Estate Management (SCREM). This year’s theme of “Light Up the Season” is fitting as the Holiday Home Tour League has been a cherished tradition in Santa Clarita for more than four decades. This year, holiday home design enthusiasts will virtually view three beautifully decorated homes crafted by the most talented and imaginative interior designers and homeowners and filmed by Video Bump. The dazzling sparkle and shine of the elaborate home décor is only a small part of this magical event. This annual fundraiser that includes the Virtual Tour, Gala, and Holiday Boutique, benefits Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Center for Women and Newborns.
This year’s homeowners all have uniquely styled homes that will create a fabulous virtual holiday tour. Each of the homes will reflect and showcase the distinct characteristics of the homeowners and their personal holiday styles. The Taban Family will showcase a beautiful home in Sand Canyon with the theme of “Let it Glow! Let it Glow! Let it GLOW!” and is sponsored by Williams Homes. The next stunning featured home is located in Peachland Estates and owned by the Ezzati Family and will be decorated to the theme of “Glitz and Glamour…Oh so Fun!” and is sponsored by Holly Hanlin of Berkshire Hathaway. The third home on the tour is the magnificent home of the Baker Family located in Westridge and sponsored by Pam Ingram of Compass Realty. Their home will be decked out to the theme of “Buon Natale!” which is Merry Christmas in Italian.
Let it Glow! Let it Glow! Let it GLOW! The Taban Home in Sand Canyon, Sponsored by Williams Homes
Rozy and Tony Taban moved to their home in Sand Canyon in 2004. The home was in need of upgrades and Rozy now had the perfect outlet for her creativity. With her flair for design and passion for decorating, Rozy hand picked out every detail of this beautiful home. The designer for this custom home is JoAnne Robertson. JoAnne started working with the Holiday Home Tour League last year where she assisted with multiple design projects. This year, JoAnne and the Tabans are focusing on sustainable holiday magic. Transforming the Taban home into a magical worldly holiday destination has been a labor of love. Their mission was to create the joy, essence and radiance of the season being mindful of sustainability through repurposing and reusing treasured holiday items. We have transformed. We have renewed. And now it’s time to “Let It Glow”.
Glitz and Glamour…Oh so Fun! The Ezzati Home in Peachland Estate, Sponsored by Holly Hanlin of Berkshire Hathaway
“Glitz & Glamour…Oh so Fun” was chosen by designer Monica Rangel of Bella Interior Creations by Monica, LLC to help unfold the beauty of family gatherings! As the last couple of years have been a bit different for many, Monica and the Ezzati family want to ensure this year's family gathering is a bit over the top with bright lights, sparkle & shine. Colors will play a big role in the design of this home along with textures and sprinkling of sparkles. Ben and Nazy Ezzati purchased their home in 2019 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. The home is 5,223 square feet, 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, has an open layout for entertaining, and unique architectural details is an entertainers paradise. However, Ben and Nazy will tell you that their favorite feature of their home is it shares a properly line with their daughter – so family visits are as easy as walking to their backyard.
Buon Natale! The Baker Home in Oak Meadow Estate in Westridge, Sponsored by Pam Ingram of Compass Realty
Blake and Kristen Baker first toured the Oak Meadow property in Westridge in 2019, and knew this was the home they had been looking for. This Westridge custom was a rare combination of the Italian style, with multiple entertaining areas, panoramic views of the valley and an excellent floorplan that truly fit the needs for their family and lifestyle. The home features 6 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, 2 half baths and a theatre. The Bakers have teamed up with designers Ruben Haynes and Ronda Chobanian-Murray from Ruben Haynes Designs. The design team hopes that as you enter the Baker Estate, you will feel transported to the Tuscan Countryside. You will experience the elegance of a grand foyer in rich colors and Kristen’s favorite “bling”, the warmth of a festive family room with traditional red colors, a gourmet kitchen with gingerbread accents and a master bedroom suite that is befitting of Christmas and New Years Eve! Buone feste!
