August Foundation President's Message

Dear Friends,

As summer draws to a close and the back-to-school season approaches, our Foundation is gearing up for a busy period ahead. Our community is at the heart of everything we do, and we are excited to present an array of exciting activities.

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we have a lineup of activities, including the much-anticipated Bingo or Bust. Additionally, we would like to extend an invitation to our local businesses and restaurants to join hands with us in supporting the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center. By participating in our give-back promotions, you can make a meaningful impact on breast health in our community. Looking ahead to the festive season, seasonal cheer is already building up for our Holiday Home Tour Gala, Boutique, and Virtual Home Tour. The Holiday Home Tour League is generously sponsored by Southern California Real Estate Management (SCREM). This year, the homes are proudly sponsored by Holly Hanlin of Berkshire Hathaway, Williams Homes, and Comfort Keepers In-Home Care. The Holiday Boutique is sponsored by Valencia Facey OB-GYN Physicians.

We are excited to offer tree and table sponsorship opportunities for the Gala and a limited number of Vendor booths. This is a fantastic chance for businesses and individuals to showcase their support for our Center for Women and Newborns, which includes the Kim and Steven Ullman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
