May 2023 Foundation President Message

May is a month of many celebrations! We wish a happy Mother’s Day to everyone called “mom” and we honor the influence of all mothers in our community.

At Henry Mayo, the month of May also brings Nurses Week and Hospital Week. We strive to celebrate our staff every day but it’s nice to have time dedicated to honor our nursing team and show appreciation to the entire hospital staff. Please join us in thanking all our employees for the excellent service they provide day in and day out.

May is also when we focus on Emergency and Trauma Services. The Frontier Toyota Henry Mayo Golf Classic , now in its 50^Th year, raises significant funds to support the work of our emergency department and trauma team.  We are thankful for the long time support of Frontier Toyota, continuing under new owner Aman Abraham,  and the many sponsors and donors who ensured we had a very successful tournament!

As we glide into warmer weather and summer celebrations, please stay safe and take care of yourself! Henry Mayo is here to serve you in many ways, including with community education programs, the Henry Mayo Fitness and Health Center, and our Primary Care and Urgent Care offices. As your community hospital, we are with you in all your health and wellness efforts. Thank you for your support!
