We are sorry that Aetna’s contract with Henry Mayo expired on July 31, 2023, and we have not been able to come to an agreement with Aetna on a contract extension. What this means is that Henry Mayo is no longer an “In-network” facility for Aetna members who need routine medical services.
Depending on your plan you may have “out-of-network” benefits that would cover your care at Henry Mayo, although with higher out-of-pocket costs. Also, in certain cases you may be eligible to continue receiving “in-network” benefits while receiving care at Henry Mayo. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT CONTINUES TO ACCEPT AETNA INSURANCE. Please contact Aetna for information on what is covered under your specific plan.
