Interpreter and Hearing Impaired Services
The hospital will provide interpretation services to patients and their family members when communication assistance is needed. There is no cost to the patient or family member for interpretation services. A patient may specifically request that a family member or friend perform interpretation services, however the hospital strongly encourages the use of a professional interpreter for medical communications. The hospital-provided interpreters will treat all conversations between patients and staff with confidentiality. If you require these services, please let the admitting staff or your nurse know your preferred language.
