Grateful to the Home Tour Homeowners

It’s the most wonderful time of the year again—The Home Tour League will host the annual Holiday “Home Tour” which is a cherished tradition in Santa Clarita and attracts people from near and far who love the excitement and novelty of the holiday season. This year, home design enthusiasts will virtually view three beautifully decorated homes crafted by the most talented and imaginative interior designers and homeowners. The sparkle and shine of the elaborate home décor is only a small part of this magical event. This annual fundraiser that includes the Virtual Tour, Gala, and Boutique, benefits Henry Mayo’s Center for Women and Newborns which is really the “Reason for the Season.”

This year’s theme is “Memories and Traditions” and the Touris sponsored bySanta Clarita Real Estate Management (SCREM). This year’s homeowners all have fabulous and uniquely styled homes that will create the perfect virtual holiday tour. Each of the homes will reflect the distinct character of the homeowners. Elizabeth Friedman will showcase Bridgeport’s spectacular lakefront with her theme of “A Christmas to Remember on the Lake,” sponsored by Holly Hanlin of Berkshire Hathaway. Debbie Porter Fillipelli of Debbie’s Designs West will create “Holidays At the Labrador Lodge” to feature the Williams family’s beautiful Labrador Retrievers, sponsored by Williams Homes. Gin Treadwell-Eng will pay homage to the long-time traditional theme of “There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays,” sponsored by Pam Ingram of Compass.

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital has a special place in the hearts of our sponsors, as well as all of the homeowners participating in this year’s Tour. They have joined in supporting the Holiday Home Tour because they’ve all have had their own personal experiences, and “memories” about the care received at Henry Mayo. Todd and Steffanie Stelnick, CEO’s of SCREM experienced the joy of having their three children born in the Center for Women and Newborns. Steffanie said, “When they told me I would need an emergency caesarian section for my older child, Todd and I never once doubted the talented team of the healthcare professionals who constantly reassured me and Todd about the procedure.”

Homeowners Lance and Sadie Williams also expressed gratitude for Henry Mayo. “Henry Mayo Hospital has been our family hospital bringing us joy with the births of our oldest children and keeping us healthy with medical needs. We are lucky to have an exceptional hospital in our community,” said Sadie.

Gin was pregnant with her second daughter when she was admitted into the Center for Women and Newborns where she was treated for an illness that caused severe dehydration. “I’m extremely grateful for the excellent care that my unborn baby- now 16- and I, received from the amazing doctors and nurses on staff,” said Gin. “It’s wonderful having the services of a major hospital right in our own town.”

Elizabeth shared that over the course of the last year, “I really appreciate the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff and admire their continual selflessness and infinite compassion towards those who are in need of their help.”

“We are so fortunate to have the Home Tour League, a dedicated support group that works tirelessly to raise funds for Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s Center for Women and Newborns, and that does it with such style,” said Marlee Lauffer, President, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation. “We are grateful for all of our sponsors and the homeowners who generously open up their lovely homes for the tour, helping us to provide quality healthcare for our community.”

The Holiday Home Tour League invites all residents of the Santa Clarita Valley community and surrounding areas to join in celebrating the holiday season by creating new “Memories and Traditions,” at this wonderful event benefitting Henry Mayo Hospital’s Center for Women and Newborns, the true “Reason for the Season.”
