HMNH Celebrates National Volunteer Week
Last month, HMNH celebrated National Volunteer Week (April 18-24) by honoring the amazing work done by our team of committed and dedicated volunteers. The highlight of the week was the volunteers seeing each other for the first time in over a year at the “Churro Bar” (stationed in the physician’s parking lot) generously donated by XRO Fresh Churro. Roger Seaver, President and CEO of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, also sent a special letter to all of the volunteers acknowledging the importance of their contributions to the Henry Mayo community.
National Volunteer Week was established in 1974 and has grown exponentially each year, with thousands of volunteer projects and special events scheduled throughout the week. This is a time to recognize the importance of volunteering and to honor the significant contributions volunteers make by generously donating their time and talents to worthy causes.
We at Henry Mayo are so grateful to all of the many volunteers who have supported our hospital and made a difference in the lives of so many deserving patients.
