Home Tour League “Rocks the Runway” for a Great Cause

Summer fashions were on full display at the Home Tour League’s Boutique and Fashion Show Luncheon which was held on June 24, 2021, hosted by the event’s title sponsor Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel in Valencia. League members, volunteers and supporters graced the Catwalk in fashions provided by runway sponsor White House Black Market, along with select designs from Hazels Bagz and Apparel, and the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital gift shop.

Home Tour League’s Mission is to support HMNH’s Center for Women and Newborns. Last year, the organization celebrated its Ruby Jubilee with more than a million dollars raised over the years. This annual membership drive event, kicked off the organization’s Holiday Home Tour season that leads up to the annual Holiday Home Tour Gala which will be held on December 3, 2021.

The show featured Marites “Tess” Faczan, a labor and delivery nurse with the Center for Woman and Newborns who was recognized for her outstanding work and commitment to the community especially during the challenges of the pandemic.

Steffanie Stelnick, CEO, SCREM and title sponsor of last year’s 40^th Anniversary Ruby Jubilee Holiday Home Tour, shared her personal story of having given birth to all three children in the Center for Women and Newborns. She and her husband Todd are life-long Santa Clarita residents and champions of the hospital.

The event was dedicated to the memory of Diana Vose who served as Foundation Board President from 2001-2015. Diana’s leadership ushered in a new culture of philanthropy that was instrumental in cultivating community support, which led to Henry Mayo’s growth and expansion over the years. Diana’s daughter Dara McHenry spoke on behalf of the family, and shared special memories of attending the annual fashion show luncheon with her mother.
