April 2024 Foundation President's Message

As spring arrives, we're delighted to present the latest updates and happenings from Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation. April brings with it a sense of rejuvenation and opportunity, and that spirit abounds at our community hospital.

First and foremost, we extend our sincere appreciation to everyone that honored our dedicated physicians for National Doctors Day. Their tireless efforts and compassionate care continues to inspire us all. Our heroic physicians were treated to a celebration that included delicious food donated by Sushi 661 and Olive Terrace Bar & Grill. 

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the highly anticipated Frontier Toyota/Henry Mayo Golf Classic on May 11. This annual event, hosted at the prestigious Valencia Country Club, is a longstanding tradition spanning over five decades. Supported by Aman Abraham and Frontier Toyota, this golf classic serves as a vital fundraiser for our Emergency and Trauma Services. There are player spots and sponsorships still available. Please join us!  And- our signature Golf Ball Drop returns again and you may purchase opportunity tickets! Tickets for a chance to win up to $50,000 can be purchased by calling 661-200-1205.

As we navigate through April, let's also take a moment to prioritize our health and well-being. With April being National Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Month, it's a perfect time to schedule screenings for various types of cancer, including breast, prostate, colon, and lung. Early detection is key, and your proactive approach to your health can make a significant difference.
